Beamer died at his home in 2017 at the age of 83.
Beth Reamer, who has been identified by police as Rena Reamer’s caretaker, was charged earlier this week for insufficient medical care in the four years prior to her death.
The 46-year-old woman was charged earlier this week after lawmakers learned that she had “desecrated” the old woman’s body and transported it across state lines.
Rena’s remains have yet to be found.
Other family members told police that Beth did everything in her power to prevent them from finding Rena’s body.
The police believe the old woman died in August 2017.
They say Beth continued to use her social benefits afterwards.
