EXPRESS n*de photos of the king’s Thai lovers Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi were sent to anti-monarchy activists in an attempt to “sabotage” the royal husband.

More than 1,400 snapshots of the lovers of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn – many of which are n*de or half-naked – have been sent to critics of the royal family.

The leakage of the “very explicit” photos of Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi – also known as Koi – is said to have been linked to a bitter rivalry between the king’s mistress and his wife.

The reveal of the naughty snaps, some of which show Koi posing naked or half-naked in front of the camera, comes after she joined the royal harem after she was dramatically kicked out and imprisoned last year.

The formidable nurse at the Army Hospital received her royal and military titles after previously accused of trying to undermine the king’s official wife and former wife, Queen Suthida.

The photos – presumably taken by Sineenat itself – were sent to British journalist Andrew MacGregor Marshall, who has authored critical articles on the Thai monarchy, the Times reported.

“The photos are clearly from Koi’s personal cell phones,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

“Most of the pictures are photos she took of herself, and dozens of them are very self-explanatory. It is likely that she took these explicit photos of herself to be sent to Vajiralongkorn.

The 1,443 recordings were made between 2012 and 2014 and contain insightful recordings of Koi topless and in tight nightwear.

The photos were also sent to the Thai academic Pavin Chachavalpongpun, who lives in Japan and is being prosecuted in Thailand for criticizing the monarchy.

The photos were delivered with a forged return address and a letter claiming they were obtained by “pro-democracy Thai hackers”.

“However, this is almost certainly not the case,” added Marshall.

“Koi’s return has been vehemently opposed by the palace factions backing Queen Suthida and Princess Bajrakitiyabha, and it is very likely that Koi’s footage was leaked to sabotage his return as Vajiralongkorn’s wife.

Sineenat was awarded the title “Chao Khun Phra”, which means royal noble wife, on the occasion of the king’s 67th birthday in July last year.

It was the first time a Thai monarch took a bride in nearly a century after the 68-year-old king married his fourth wife, Queen Suthida, 41 three months earlier.

Sineenat also received four medals, including “The Most Noble Order of the Crown in Thailand” and “The Sublime Order of the White Elephant, special class”.

But last October, less than three months after making Sineenat his royal wife, the king issued an order to revoke the appointment and send her to prison.

The official statement accused his mistress of “being dishonorable, showing no gratitude [and] disobedience to the king and queen”.

In a bizarre twist in late August this year, the Thai Royal Gazette reported that not only was Sineenat back, but that she had never done anything wrong and that the files should not do so to show that she had never lost her privileges.

This isn’t the first time the eccentric Thai king has been caught up in controversy.

In 2017, he tried to sue Facebook after photos of him walking through a German shopping mall covered in tattoos and wearing a thin crop top were revealed.

Persistent tensions have hampered the monarchy in Thailand as protesters took to the streets in the capital, Bangkok this year, to call for reforms from the royal family.
