A Russian journalist was killed in a shelling by Russian forces in the Ukrainian capital of kyiv.
Oksana Baulina had been reporting from Kyiv and the western city of Lviv for investigative site The Insider, the outlet said in a statement.
Shee died while filming the damage in the Podil neighborhood, he added.
Baulina had previously worked for Russian opponent Alexei Navalny’s anti-corruption foundation and left Russia.

Last year, the foundation was banned by authorities and labeled as extremist, forcing many of its employees to flee abroad.
Another person was killed and two others injured in the attack, according to insiders.
Baulina previously sent several reports from Kyiv and the city of Lviv in western Ukraine, The Insider said.
The publication expressed its “sincere condolences” to the journalist’s family and friends.
Investigative journalist Alexey Kovalyov paid tribute to Baulina.
Baulina is one of five journalists killed in a month of war.
At the beginning of March, Yevhenii Sakun, a cameraman for the Ukrainian channel LIVE TV who also worked for the Spanish news agency EFE, was killed in the attack on the television transmission tower in kyiv.
Two weeks later, American journalist and director Brent Renaud, 50, was shot dead while filming in the town of Irpin near kyiv.
And two days later, two Fox News reporters, cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski, 55, and Oleksandra Kuvshinova, 24, were killed when their vehicle caught fire on the outskirts of kyiv.
