Washington police said Sunday there would be a shooting at the Perth Motorplex in Kwinana Beach shortly after 8:30 pm. Saturday local time with Martin, 51, and a 31-year-old man.
The Motorplex held an endurance event on Saturday evening.
Both men were rushed to Perth hospital, but Martin, accused of financial misconduct and lost his role as rebel president, is dead.
A five-year-old boy sitting on the lap of an adult next to Martín also suffered superficial injuries during the shooting.
Washington Police Commissioner Chris Dawson said authorities would do everything possible to crack down on motorcycle attacks in retaliation after Martin’s death.
