A suspect in the death of two motorcyclists and the injury of a third in North Carolina has been arrested in Kentucky, a sheriff said on Tuesday.

Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page told a news conference Tuesday afternoon that Kentucky State Police arrested Martin Calvin Cox without incident. Page was neither an age nor an address as Cox, but said he lived in the area.

Page said Cox had been charged with murder. He was held in the Bullitt County Jail until his return to North Carolina. The sheriff said his office worked on the case with Kentucky authorities as well as state and federal law enforcement.
