Joyce Cara Zamago was charged with allowing an unlicensed minor to drive without a license. A four-year-old Florida girl was killed and another toddler seriously injured on Saturday night when a van driven by a 14-year-old girl crashed into another vehicle near Fort Myers.
Florida Highway Patrol said the little girl was one of six children in the van along with the 44-year-old mother of the teen who was the passenger, WFTX reported.

Joyce Cara Zamago, 44, was charged with allowing an unlicensed minor to drive without a license, which resulted in serious injury or death and exacerbated child abuse, according to Lee County Prison records.
Police said the teen was driving west in the left turn lane on Florida SR-82 at around 6:30 p.m. and an SUV driven by a 37-year-old man was traveling east on the road, both approaching at the intersection with Sunshine Boulevard, according to WINK.
The 14-year-old turned left into the lane of the SUV. Both vehicles turned around, the SUV came to a stop off the road.
State police said the driver, 44-year-old woman, 10-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl in the van were lightly injured along with the deceased toddler and a 3-year-old who sustained life-threatening injuries. Another child was in this vehicle, but apparently unharmed.
Of the six people in the SUV, none were injured, including a 32-year-old woman and three children between the ages of 12 and 19.
The state police did not disclose the names of those involved.
