Police footage captured the moment a filmmaker Joseph Taheim Bryan in Long Island City was shot dead by a stranger in his car on the evening of August 19th.

The video shows the shooter walking in front of a garage while talking on the phone before walking towards a Mercedes Benz with his hand in his pocket.

Joseph ‘Taheim’ Bryan, 50, was parked in the vehicle on Jackson Avenue around 11:20 p.m. before the man shot him four times in the arm and torso killing him in the front seat of his car.

A witness told DailyMail.com: “I heard gunshots around 11pm, very fast and close by. I looked out my window and saw a car parked in the middle of the cul-de-sac next to my building.

“Building security came out and saw something was wrong and the police were there very quickly. I think a helicopter spotted the car. ”

The footage then showed a dark Mazda exiting the scene on Queens Boulevard after the incident.

The shooter is said to have got into the vehicle with a getaway driver at the ready, the police said, according to The New York Post.

In the video, he was seen in black sweatpants, a white sweatshirt, and a hat and mask.

Bryan was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

“Officials had to break into the vehicle and drag the guy out and try to resuscitate him until the ambulance got there,” a witness told DailyMail.com.

Rapper Ice-T, 63, took to Twitter on August 20 and said, “MFs killed my boyfriend last night. I’m not well behind that. Taheim was a GOOD guy who made positive moves. ‘

Bryan was a friend of Ice-T, who wrote and produced an action film called “Equal Standard” with the rapper.

“He wrote the film Equal Standard together and we made it. He leaves behind a wife and daughter. Dirty MFs followed him home and murdered him. ‘

Gilbert Cantres, a lifelong friend of Bryan and his sister’s ex-husband, told the New York Post, “So this is killing the whole family. He had no enemies out there, not from what I know. ‘
