Investigators have provided new clues as to who may have killed a Melbourne father standing in front of a pool hall.
Just before midnight on February 27, Ikenasio Tuivasa, known to his friends as “Sio”, was with a group of people outside of Ravenhall city center.
A Toyota Hilux SR5 approached and stopped in the street, and a passenger got out of the vehicle.
Investigators believe the attacker called the group and then fired several shots.
Tuivasa, 33, died from his injuries and another man, 24, was seriously injured.

After the shooting, the Hilux crashed onto Ballarat Road and was last seen on the West Highway towards Rockbank.
Homicide investigators are still trying to figure out a clear reason for the shooting.
On Wednesday, police released video footage of the person suspected of being involved in the incident in hopes that someone would recognize him.
The vehicle is a dark gray double cab Toyota Hilux SR5 with a chrome roll bar on the rear floor.
It is believed that both residents are islands in the Pacific.
“Investigators also found that the site is frequented by members of the Hells Angels and Comanchero (OMCG) motorcycle gangs, some of whom were on the site the night before,” Inspector Detective Tim Day said in a press release.
“It is believed that the night before there was another altercation outside the premises. Information suggests that a firearm was made in the incident.
“Investigators are trying to determine if this incident is related to the shooting in which Sio died.”
“As we know, the characters who get into the OMCG are generally not rocket scientists, and there have been several examples in the past few years of OMCG groups failing to do their homework and killing an innocent unintentional victim.”
