A missing Georgia woman has been found dead in a canyon after telegraphing her daughter $2,385, along with the chilling news: “They won’t let me go, I love you,” according to a report.

The body of Debbie Collier, 59, was found on September 11, two days after she last left her Athens home in a rental SUV, 11Alive reported.

His daughter, Amanda Bearden, told police that Collier, whose car was in the store, left her home with only her driver’s license and debit card, according to the news.

The rental vehicle’s SiriusXM satellite radio was located on US 441 near Victory Home Lane, approximately 60 miles from Collier’s home, and a K-9 team from the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office located the body of the woman nearby.

Investigators are treating his death as murder, which 11 Alive says may have been the result of an abduction based on Bearden’s missing persons report.

The 36-year-old girl told Athens Clarke County police that Collier suddenly sent her $2,385 via Venmo, with the message, “They won’t let me go, I love you.”

The tragic mother, who worked for Carriage House Realty in Athens, and her husband wed in 2013, the agency reported.
