GoFundMe page

The GoFundMe page shared on her social media post was started by Jennifer Van Delden. Your family has not asked for anything in any way, but so many have tried to help. Thank you in advance for all of your prayers and support. “The GoFundMe site has raised $ 41,529 at the time of this writing, much more than its target of $ 20,000.

Tristyn disappeared on the morning of May 9th. Her family reported that she was missing around 10 a.m. that day. Her remains were found hours later and, ultimately, 14-year-old Fucci was arrested in connection with her death. The schoolgirl died of “violent stabbing trauma,” and her death has been classified as murder, according to the medical examiner announced by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office on May 11th. It was reported that both teenagers attended the same school – Patriot Oaks Academy.

Fucci was charged with second degree murder. He was presented virtually to Judge Richard Orfinger on May 11 at an internment camp in Volusia County, where his conditions of detention were read out. The judge stated, “I think there is likely reason to believe that the offense took place, at which point I will order that Mr. Fucci of the Juvenile Justice Department be kept in safe custody for 21 days or until further directed by the Crime is arrested in court. ”

During the courtroom appearance, the student appeared to control his tears at first, but when the judge asked his parents to pay $ 5 for every day he was at the center, he reportedly rolled his eyes. Also, it is not yet clear whether he will be tried as an adult. If treated and convicted of an adult during the trial, he could have a life behind bars for the alleged murder.
