The search for missing teenager Bobbi-Anne McLeod has found a body that has gone missing after failing to locate friends as planned.

Suspects

Police arrested two men, aged 24 and 26, both from Plymouth, for murder.

Bobbi-Anne was reported to police on Saturday and has been searched thoroughly since.

A Facebook page designed to help you find it has attracted over 10,000 members.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the body of a woman was found today near Bovisand in south Hampshire.

Bobbi-Anne had left her home in Leigham around 6:00 p.m. and he had to take the bus downtown to meet friends.

It never arrived and Devon and Cornwall Police were searching and investigating all of Plymouth, police said, assisted by a police helicopter.

Police searched the Bovisand crime scene after receiving information they should have investigated.

They said a formal identification has not yet been made, but Bobbi-Anne’s family have been notified and are being assisted by investigators.

The two detainees remain in police custody.

His brother Lee McLeod previously asked anyone with information on Facebook to contact him.

He said: “The police called and someone handed Bobbi’s cell phone to him.

“I beg all the singles in Plymouth to help me search everywhere, find everything.

Chief Superintendent Matt Longman acknowledged “the dedication and efforts of the police and the public who worked tirelessly side by side during the search.”

He encouraged the city to “support the police” by providing any information that might help the investigation.

He added: “It’s very stressful for the people of Plymouth tonight, really, and I just want to send my thoughts to Bobbi-Anne’s friends and family.

“It seems like a relatively inappropriate statement at a time like this, but we are doing our best and will continue to do our best to understand exactly what happened around this event.”

Plymouth Sutton and Devonport MP Luke Pollard tweeted: ‘It is devastating news to our town that a body has been discovered in the search for missing Bobbi-Anne.

“My thoughts and my love are with the family. We are awaiting news from the police, but it is another dark day for our city. We work together as we did after Keyham.
