Motorcycle specialist died in a serious accident Thursday as he was preparing for a world record jump in Washington state.
Alex Harvill, 28, briefly landed on the dirt ramp and hovered on the handlebars during his Guinness record-breaking 351-foot jump training at the Moses Lake Airshow at Grant County International Airport, according to KREM.

Harvill, who previously set a world record with a 297-foot jump, was hospitalized but could not be saved, according to the report.
His record jump should be the first event of the air show.
“I can’t believe what the air show is doing,” Harvill said, according to the store before the crash.
“You have organized so many people and companies to support me!
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Harvill’s death in a Facebook post.
“Our condolences to Alex’s family, friends and loved ones,” the sheriff’s office said.
